    • Entrance to King René's Castle

This majestic entrance is in the Renaissance style (17th century). Property of King René of Anjou in the 15th century, it was greatly modified in the 17th and 18th centuries. Today it houses the Town Hall. Through this porch you can access the courtyard of the castle.

    • Entrance to the stone quarry, Loubatas path

Having been used for the expansion of the castle and for the construction of certain homes in the historic center of Peyrolles, this abandoned place in the middle of the forest is worth coming for a peaceful stroll. A vestige of the Roman aqueduct of Traconnade from the 2nd century brings a little more strangeness to this end of its career...

    • Traconnade Roman aqueduct

Roman structure from the 2nd century. The spring water drawn from Jouques to supply AIX with drinking water is transported by an aqueduct passing through the hills of Peyrolles, Meyrargues and Venelles. This vestige can be seen in the quarry.
